Getting to Southbank
Flinders Street station is a five minute walk over the Evan Walker or Sandridge footbridges, which puts every suburban line within reach without changing trains. The St Kilda Road and Southbank Boulevard trams run through the precinct, and the free tram zone reaches its southern edge. Parking is the practical difference from the grid: the Southbank towers and the Crown precinct have far more of it, and Kings Way and the West Gate are at the door for a team driving in from the west or south-east.
